Prerequisite Course: ANSI N43.17 (2009) REQUIRED – CLASS A FULL BODY X-RAY SCREENING SYSTEM – OPERATOR RADIATION SAFETY TRAINING COURSE ALT

ALL RADIATION SAFETY OFFICERS (RSO) MUST TAKE THE ABOVE COURSE FIRST. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GAIN ACCESS TO THIS RSO COURSE IF YOU HAVE NOT COMPLETED THE ABOVE COURSE.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ACCESSING THIS COURSE:

  • On the next page just enter the Coupon Code you have been assigned for this course. Then click Apply Coupon. The page will update automatically and you will then see a message in Green indicating the “Coupon code applied successfully“.
    Scroll down to the bottom of this page and click on Proceed to Checkout.
  • Complete all required fields that are marked with an asterisk *  This information is ONLY used to determine who is taking the course and for tracking progress and completion along with determining which facility location you are assigned. Your facility Radiation Safety Officer may ask RCE to provide training records in the event they have been lost onsite and the State inspector requires them for their inspection.

  • When you get to the Course Home page, there is a 21-page Getting Started Manual for the Facility Radiation Safety Officer. Whether you purchased the RCE RP Program or not, pages 7-21 will be very helpful explaining what the RSO requirements and actions are to implement a compliant RP Program.
  • We hope you enjoy the course. There is a 25-question final exam. An 80% passing grade is required. If you do not pass the first time, simply try again. Most pass the first time !!!
